The Runaway

Hope's POV

I dialed Joe's number, " Joe, i am going to your place dont ask why " i said with my voice shaking,  i put a speacial stuffed animal in a galaxy jansport bag, i also put in a few razors and a few sweaters and shirts pants and stuff, i also put in a blanket in case i didn't make it to Joe's by nightfall, i started climbing out of the window, i ran through the city for about 3 hours till i reached Joes flat, i banged on the door, " Joe let me in please " i screamed, Joe ran to the door and hugged me " what did she do now " he whisperd, " she she she said she will kill me if i didn't stop crying " i mumbled " why were you crying " then he noticed my arm " Ouch " he put ice on the bruise  i had on my arm, he decided to let me sleep with him because i was scared,

~Time Skip ~

Joe's POV

"Hope, breath slowly, take deep breathes, follow my breathing " Hope was having a full on panic attack, she usally called me every night after mom had beaten her to death, she just needed someone to calm her down, but mom just didn't understand, i took a deep breath and told her to do the same "1.. 2.. 3.. " we breathed out slowly, after doing that for about half an hour she was finally calm, " its just a nightmare, its not real " i whisperd, i started rocking her wishing that she could get the help she needed by mom, i got a call from Zoe " Has she calmed down yet? " i herd her say in the phone, i was texting her the whole half hour, " yea, she fell back asleep, i am gonna stay up in case it happens again " i replied  " ok well, have a fun time trying to get her to go back to mom " she said, " i really dont think she can though, she cant go a night without facetiming till she falls asleep, or when she is here sleeps on the floor beside  me, or curled up beside me " i said " i really hope she gets the help she needs, also how much has she ate today " Zoe said " it looks like nothing, i don't get why she can't even chew gum without mum calling her fat, she is soo skinny right now though, and i am worried sick about her health " i said before ending the call

~The next Day ~

Hope's POV

I had another panic attack last night, i felt like Joe hated me, i kept him up all night, and then when i did sleep i had panic attacks, wich led to me calling him, and then running to his house out of nowhere after dazing, i noticed i got a text from Caspar Lee, " Hey Hope, I was wondering on how your feeling XXX - Caspar "  I answered with " hey Caspar, I am fine I guess, i ran to Joe's last night again, fell asleep woke up around 11:00 pm with a panic attack and didn't fall asleep till around 11: 30 maybe 12 " i then got a text from Zoe, all i could think is what does she want, " Hope, i was wondering, How bad did mom hurt you last night, Joe told me that you had a bruise on your arm XOXO "  i answered back " Oh umm well she hit my arm then threw me into a wall, all for crying about my arm already hurting then she said, i will give you somethin to cry about, then she hit me and stuff " i noticed Joe awake " hey sweetie " he whisperd into my ear, i jumped  " sorry for scaring you, but you have a choice to go back home to mom or go to Zoe's house for the day, i need to get some things done " Joe said, " umm well umm " i said " Zoe's it is " he clearly said that so i don't have to go through hell with mom again

Zoe's POV

"Joe texted me saying Hope will be coming to our place" i said to Alfie, " i dont get why she doesn't get along with you " Alfie said, " i am sure it's because she is used to being around Joe all the time, or it could be that Joe was the first person she told about mom abusing her, i was her best friend till dad died, then she just changed because of mom " I said, " Ok, i will leave you two alone for the day, and just hope you two can get along " Alfie said, he kisses me then ran to the uber her called moments earlier to go to Dan and Phils

~Time Skip ~

Hopes POV

Joe and i got a taxi to Zoe's, once we got at the door and knocked she came out " hello you two " he said hugging Joe then smiling at me  " come in, i dont want you standing in the cold rain " she said to me and i still didn't move " Joe, why isn't she moving" i herd Zoe whisper " she could be thinking " i herd Joe reply, Joe finally decided to carry me in once Nala almost got out thats when i stopped thinking realising that i was carried in " oh sorry " i mumbled " oh its ok " Zoe said while Joe said his goodbye's to me, I almost cried as he ran back into the taxi  i took off my backpack and grabbed my stuffed animal, i knew Zoe bought it but it reminded me of Joe, i also grabbed my small blanket that i had since i was a baby and curled up, the stuffed animal was a dog,  it was a collie to be exact, " Are you hungry " Zoe said, i replied with a no, it was clear that i haven't ate much since people could see my ribs
