"Go away, Simon." I weakly shouted behind me as I flopped down on my bed.

"No."

"Yes."

"No, baby girl. I'm not giving up on you. You're something special. You do not realize how much better my life has been since I found you."

"Well you didn't have to leave for a week without telling me."

"I know and I'm sorry, but there's a reason behind it." Simon pulled me up from my bed and sat me on his lap. He started stroking my hair. "I'm so sorry." He whispered.

I knew that I loved him too much to break him, and his apology seemed sincere.

"I love you," I whispered, quickly realizing that I had never said it to him before. Simon's breathing hitched. "Si? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that." I felt tears starting to form so tried to wriggle out of Simon's grip, but he just held me tighter. I turned to face him and saw tears falling from his eyes. His ocean eyes. Without thinking, I wiped them away with my thumb and flickered my eyes from his eyes, to his lips.

"I-I love you so much, I should have told you sooner." Simon spoke softly, whist pulling me closer. I took in his natural scent, that I loved so much: citrus and masculinity. I could hear the radio playing downstairs and our slow breathing.

"You're beautiful, I could stare at you all day." I surprised myself by saying. Simon smirked and laid down, with me still on top of him. He grabbed my face and kissed me with such passion; it was the best kiss I had experienced, ever. My hands laced themselves together in the back of his hair whilst his arms snaked around my body. He was gentle but rough at the same time and it was phenomenal.

It wasn't heated, but it was enough to prove to me that Simon loved me a lot and I hoped that it proved the same thing to him as well.

"So, um, why did you leave?" I asked, knowing that he had successfully dodged the topic earlier.

"My granddad... died."

"Oh my days, I am so sorry, baby. You should've told me, you know I would have supported you." I was so shocked at what Simon had told me, and understood why he didn't say anything until now.

"Thank you, I'll get over it. That's not the only reason though. I bought you something and needed advice from my family.

I got off of Simon and he went over to a bag that was laying on the floor.

"Don't freak out, it's not what you think it is." He said, whilst pulling a tiny box out of the bag. In that moment, I felt so tense; wondering what was in the box. As he opened it, I gasped as I saw a beautiful, delicate ring.

"Oh my god. That is so pretty."

"It's a promise ring." Simon smiled. As I looked closer, I saw that it said: "I love you ~ Simon".

"I love it!" I squealed, whilst he took my hand, and slid the ring onto my middle finger.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you." I repeated, flinging my arms around Simon's neck.

"I love you, forever." He whispered, hugging me and then kissing my head.

"And always."
