Hi, I'm the narrator of this book. Whats my name you ask? Thats not important. Whats important is that this is a book about a girl who is happy and loves everything and is such a little Marry Sue (except for the fact that she couldn't bake to save her life) until everything goes wrong and she is down in the dumps and is beginning to question life.
Her name is Jane Walker. Number one athlete on the track team in Utah, one of the smartest girls in school, and the girlfriend of Peter Jennings, the most popular boy in the school. At the moment she is eating lunch with Peter and her BFF Gabby.
She sits there listening and and participating in a conversation about the upcoming Track and Field race.
" So Jane, how bad do you think you'll crush your current record this time around," Peter asked
"I don't know, two or three seconds maybe," she smirks.
She notices some girls pointing and giggling at a boy sitting on a table by himself.
"Watcha looking at" Gabby questions her.
"Oh, it's nothing,"
