The 20th chapter!! We have come so far and Travis hasn't even asked Y/n out yet :P

"Fiiiiiine," I whined. I took a deep breath and though about what I was going to say. "At first, I really didn't like Travis. He was a pervert that thought if you were persistent enough, that you could get any girl."

"At first!" Aphmau cheered.

"Don't interrupt," I scolded. "I also know that he is listening in on our conversation," I said as I stood up. I walked out and saw the guys trying to hide behind trees

"You still owe me the truth," Aphmau whispered to me.

"I'll tell you later," I whispered back. "Anyway," I said talking at a normal tone, "the day is still young. Let's go do something."

"We could go back for lunch. By the time we get back it'll be around noon," Aphmau suggested.

"Okay. Guys you can come out now. We really aren't mad," I called out. They all popped their heads out. They all mumbled some kind of apology. Well, not Travis. He walked up to me instead.

"You're act like you don't like me," he said.

"You're a friend of mine. Happy?" I asked.

"Aww you're too cute," said Travis as he booped my nose.

"Sooooo~" Aphmau said as she walked up next to us. "Do you guys remember when Travis said that Y/n talks sometimes in her sleep?"

"Yeah," Travis answered.

"What does she say?!" Aph asked excitedly.

"Please don't say. I don't know what comes out of my mouth while I sleep!" I pleaded.

"Sorry, Aph, but Y/n seems set on nobody knowing." Aphmau looked disappointed. "I'll tell you later," he whispered to her. I hit him on the shoulder.

"We're back," Aaron called back to us.

"Good, I'm starving."

Time skip!

We all decided to do our own thing after we ate. Aphmau dragged me to her car and locked the doors when we got in.

"Spill," she said with a deadly look in her eyes.

"Fine. I knew this was going to come at some point." I sighed. "So, you know I didn't like Travis for a bit. I'm not sure when it was when he started to grow on me. Probably some time before the flood. I really wouldn't say that I have a crush on him. He comforts me, really. Like when he sleeps next to me, I just wanna stay there forever. I'm not sure if it's cause I'm comfortable or if it's him. And Aaron was right. There's something about the smell of his jacket. It smells like him and that's just so calming. I guess it's just him, now that I think about it. He's just intoxicating. Everything about him. Like, you know how when you have a crush you feel butterflies whenever you see them?" She nodded. "Well it's not like that. Which is what makes me think I don't have a crush on him." I paused for a moment. "In all honesty, I just suck at emotions."

"I never expected any of that to come out of your mouth," Aphmau said. I shrugged. "So in all reality, you do like him."

"I guess so?" I questioned. "Just don't tell anyone. I know how you get. If you tell a single soul, I won't hesitate to ruin your life."

"Can I tell Aaron?" She asked.

"Fine. But if he tells anyone, I'll ruin both of your lives," I told her.

"Gotcha," she replied. "Soooooo~ what if he asks you out on a date?"

"Um I say yes? What else would I say?"

"True. Okay but why do you act like you don't like him?"

"I don't know. I might just be scared of getting into a relationship. Like, either you break up, which can be so painful, or you get married," I explained.

"I never thought of it that way," Aphmau said.

"Yeah. Sometimes I just want a cat," I said.

"Heh, don't we all?" We both laughed at this.

"We should get going. We can play cards," I suggested.

"Okay!" We got out and met up with the guys.

"What were you guys talking about?" Travis asked me.

"Girl stuff," I replied.

"What kind of things fall under the 'girl stuff' category?" He asked.

"Nails, hair, stuff like that," I answered. I mean, it wasn't a lie. It just wasn't what we talked about.

"And you guys can't talk about nails and hair in front of us?"

"My, my, you sure full of a bunch of questions," I replied with a smile. "So... Does anyone want to play cards?" Everyone was up for it. We decided to play Go Fish.

Time skip

"How are you so good at this?" I asked Garroth in awe. He shrugged after his 4th win in a row.

"One more game! I refuse to lose!" Travis said as he shuffled the cards.

"After this last game we can probably light the campfire," Aphmau said.

"Yeah, I brought food for kabobs," Aaron said.

"Yas," I said as Travis delt the cards.

Time skip :P

"Well I'm gonna to sleep," Aphmau said as she stood up. Everyone else seconded this. I grabbed my water bottle and poured what was left of it on the already dying fire. Travis and I walked back to our tent.

"Turn. I'm changed into my pjs," I told him. "And this time, don't turn around until I tell you."

"Fine fine." He raised his hands in defeat. I changed my shirt super quickly in case Travis saw my back dimples again. I slipped off my pants and grabbed my pajama bottoms, but not until I saw a huge furry spider on them.

"TRAVIS THERE'S A SPIDER KILL IT PLEASE!!!" I ran over to him.

"What kind of spider?" He asked.

"Does it matter? Kill it!" I said.

"I don't know, you look great when there's a spider in here," he said as he looked me up and down.

"Travis, that gross thing is right on my pants. Pleaseeeee kill it," I begged.

"Fiiiine." He went over to where I was originally and kicked the spider off of my clothes and then smooshed it into the floor. "Happy?"

"Yes. Thank you," I said quietly. I finished getting dressed.

"What's the point in telling me to turn around and then run over to me with no pants on?" Travis asked.

"Okay, I didn't know there was going to be a spider," I said in my defense. I laid down and covered myself with the blankets. Travis laid down next to me and pulled me closer.

"You're pushing your luck," I said.

"What? I'm cold," he tried to defend himself.

"We both know that's not the case," I said before I dozed off.

Hello!!! I'm back!!! I feel really bad for leaving everyone off on a cliffhanger and then getting sick and not updating for a bit ;-; but I do feel better so thank you to everyone who said that they hoped I would get less sick. I might not update during this week so please don't delete my book from your library. I've noticed when I haven't updated in a bit, people would become less interested and stop reading. If I don't update for a while, it's either cause I have no ideas or in busy. So please please please, keep my book!! ^3^
