Almandine's Mother stared into her lover's eyes as she delivered the news. He did not take it lightly, and grabbed the curtain for support as he burst into silent tears and clenched his fist even tighter. "N-NO! I WILL NOT ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN!" He yelled as he rushed over to his wife, so she could see the shades of green in his eyes contrast with the ocean tears dripping from them down his face. "I know, it's hard to hear," Almandine's mother spoke. "But, I can not exist if the child does. There's no other way around it." She could feel tears forming in her eyes watching the man she loved so much be so upset. "Then... Then we won't have a baby. I can't loose you." He stuttered, pleading with hands interlocked with hers. "I'm sorry." The process had already begun. There was nothing Josh, or Almandine's mother could do about it. Her hands began to glow a vibrant red. "Josh." She uttered. "Take care of this child, it's the only thing I ask of you." The glow spread from her hands to her stomach, and began to incline to her head and toes. "O-Ok. I... I love you, Allie." 'Allie' smiled, just before the glow overtook her head she said, " I love you too." Then her form shattered into a million pieces, leaving only the shape of a small child. Her skin was red,  and her gem, on her shoulder, shined a lighter shade of red- just like her mother. Josh picked the small child up and cradled her in his arms. "I'll protect you." All of a sudden, the room went black, and Josh was running. Still carrying the now infant girl, he seemingly endlessly sprinted through the darkness. A booming voice came from all around. "YOU." It spoke brashly. "YOU WERE THE CAUSE OF MY GREATEST WARRIOR'S DEATH." "N-No! You're not understanding-" He was cut off by a giant, yellow sword being sliced through his body. "Daddy?" The child called out for her father, but he was nowhere in her sight. She began to cry, and the large voice laughed maniacally. She was breathing hard. Tears were streaming down her face. The voice got closer, and closer, and CLOSER, and then-

Almamdine woke up. In her bed, in her cove. She wished these dreams would stop. She wished The Yellow Swordsdress would just find her already. Fourteen years she has waited, survived, done nothing waiting for something to happen in her live. She missed her Father, She wished she knew her Mother, she wished that SOMETHING would happen. She went out to collect flammable things for fire at night. When all of a sudden, she heard a mighty ROAR from close by. She pulled her bow and arrow out of her gem, waiting for a sign of which direction to go to find and kill the beast. Finally, something was happening. She crept over the late july leafs, careful not to make too much noise. Then she heard growls and- could it be? No, no- No human would ever set foot on the ancient gem battleground. She was hearing things for sure. She headed towards the growls, and it is then that she saw something that would change the course of her entire life.
