I woke up later that day and of course first thing I did was look at my phone. (No messages from Shawn). I figured he was still asleep so I didn't let it bother me. I walked downstairs and made myself some food. I looked at the time to see if it was lunch and of course it was so I made myself some ramen. I was standing there waiting for my ramen to finish cooking when my phone vibrated. I looked to see a message from Shawn.
Shawn: Good morning Jasmine. I hope I am not waking you up
I read the message and noticed my ramen was done cooking so I put it in a bowl before I started my reply. I sat at the table and started my reply.
Me: Good morning Shawn and no you did not wake me I was already awake...I was making myself some ramen
Shawn: oh what flavor?
Me: beef that's the only one I like... I am a picky eater
Shawn: I bet you're not that picky of an eater
Me: Oh I am... I'm so picky that I don't like gum
Shawn: WHAT!!! You don't like gum? 😱
Me: ya I don't I know I'm weird
Shawn: haha that is weird but I'm weird too I don't like tomatoes
Shawn: What is something you love to eat? I love muffins
Me: I love lasagna .... I don't like muffins 😖
Shawn: How do you not like muffins? I guess this won't work out goodbye ✌️✌️
Me: really Shawn haha 😂
Shawn: haha I'm kidding. That will just mean more muffins for me 😈
Me: Have all the muffins you want I will give them too you haha
Shawn: well thank you that's so sweet of you haha so what are you doing today?
Me: nothing nothing at all just be lazy 🙃
Shawn: that sounds just like what I am doing right now haha
Me: oh trying to copy me huh
Shawn: what me copy not at all it was my idea first
Me: no it was mine I said it first
Shawn: well I said it second so
Me: Can't you jus let me win because you think im cute
Shawn: How do you know I think you're cute?
Me: ummm because why else would you try so hard to find me
Shawn: you do have a point there
Me: so sir do I win or do I win?
Shawn: You... Lose
Me: buuutttt Shawn!!!
Shawn: I can't let you win that easy I have to get something in return
Me: ok fine what do you want?
Shawn: how about a FaceTime with you so I can see your pretty face again?
Me: my face is ugly but fine... Just give me a minute ok?
Shawn: ok just text me when you're ready
Me: ok I won't be long promise
I ran upstairs to try and get myself ready. I knew he wouldn't care how I looked but I kind of did. I put my hair in a messy bun and changed since I had been in my pjs all day. I sat in my bed and texted Shawn I was ready.
Me: ok Shawn I'm ready
Shawn: ok I'm gonna call you
Me: ugh I'm so nervous
Shawn: don't be its just me and I'll make sure it won't be awkward
Me: ok... Well hurry up and call me
My phone screen started to vibrate and I was starting to get more nervous then I already was. I slide my phone screen to answer the FaceTime
