A poem to my deceased cat

Nox, the furry cat from down the block.
Who in his eyes you can see the sun,
Who in his eyes you can the grass,
Who in his eyes you can see the light
Nox, in that black coat.
Leaving strands of fur wherever you walk.
Nox, climbing every climbable thing,
And also they ones that are not climbable at all.
Nox, purring me to sleep.
Nox, cuddling with me when I sink,
When sadness takes over.
Nox, you playful thing.
Nox in his yellow eyes.
Nox hidding in the dark.
Nox and his wet nose,
Wrinkling it whenever it's touched.
Nox and his tiny mouth,
Which he used to kiss.
Nox, everyone loved him, everyone cared.
Nox, liked to be everywhere.
Nox, always wanting to know what's up.
Standing in two paws to get a clearer view,
Of what you're going to add to your stew.
Nox, the cat that ate brocoli and yogurt.
Nox, the ate that like chicken with pepper.
Nox, the cat that ate popcorn.
Nox, the cat that liked sharing my food.
Your paws were soft, and so was your fuzzy hair.
You never meowed, not a single sound you made.
You never cried, even when it hurt.
You never cried and that's what got you.
This morning nobody heard,
The pain that you were going through.
No one imagined you could feel such ache,
You were fine yesterday.
Running around the house, unlocking doors and making a mess.
You were fine, and then you were not.
You tried to walk to the house, you even scratched for you to be heard.
No one thought you could feel such pain.
And when the blood was too much,
You decided to lay down,
Closest to the thing that smelled like us.
Silly us, stupid us that didn't hear you.
We didn't take enough care of you.
We didn't notice when you walked out of the house,
Through the wooden door or from the roof top.
We didn't hear what got you.
We still don't know what it was.
And only when we realized you weren't there,
Waiting for the hot cakes being prepared,
Wanting to steal a piece for yourself.
Only then we heard,
The silence that you make,
The silence that was no longer there.
And we ran around the house, to the places you liked.
And we called your name over and over again.
Only to find you, lying there,
Outside, under the family car.
Your wet nose was dry in blood,
Your fuzzy fur was falling off,
And you were still, still like never before.
We called you, again and again.
No answer did we get,
For you were long gone,
Back at the rainbow road,
Where we shall meet again one day.
We shall bury you in flowers,
Those flowers I bet you'd love to smell.
And just like in Harry Potter is said
Nox, nox to the light of your eyes,
Which were now closed for the very last time.
Nox, nox to the adventurous soul,
That was once mine.
Nox, nox to your life,
What a great life.
And so did you said, nox for the very last time.
Nox, farewell, my brave cat.
