Yin's POV
Today was the day Akashi Ren was taken back to her home, I had left the job to another team. The look in her eyes, the aura she had about her... all of it. All an exact replica of Yang, only her hair and the broken mind state differed. It seems that I have failed you once again... please... never forgive me for failing you... little sister...
I was brought out of my thoughts by a stinging pain on my back. I opened my eyes and reached my hand over to my back, snatching something that felt like a sharp flower. I swiftly switched from sitting on my head--with my legs crossed in a sitting prayer--to be seated with my legs cross on the hard mountain ground. I looked down at my hand to see a flower made of thorns sitting in my palm, specks of my blood splattered on it and dripping from my hand to the ground. "I'm so sorry!" A shy voice called out to me and I looked behind me--away from the cliff's edge--to see a girl with unique hair tanking a child behind her. It was black with streaks of vibrant white.
When the girl reached me, she was out of breath and so was the little girl she had pulled behind her. "This is yours, I presume?" I held up the flower that was now dug halfway through my palm.
The girl gasped. "Oh my gosh! Your hand! I am so sorry!" She bowed. "Flower and I were training when she lost control of one of her Killer Blooms because of my genjutsu." She had a worried look in her chocolate brown eyes as she explained to me what had happened.
The black--with blue streaked--haired girl huffed and glared at her friend that was saying 'sorry' over and over again in her place. "Akari, quit freaking out, this person's already healing." She, Flower, looked at me with her unique eyes. Her left eye was blue with purple stripes while her right eye was purple with blue stripes. "You're not human either, are you?"
(This is Akari)
"Flower! That's so rude!"
I chuckled. "You can say I'm something like that." I gave a look that could not be read, but held no meaning behind it. "I take it you both are not from this village? I am going to have to ask you why you're here, as an interrogator of the ANBU Black Ops of this village." I placed the Killer Bloom down on the ground by my side and leaned back on my palms casually, a cage of ice now surrounding us. "Now, what is your business in my village?"
Flower grinned at my like a deranged cat and patted the dust off of her dress that was an endless shade of green before sitting down, not on the ground, but on thin air before a root grew from the ground and formed a stool for her. Quite a phenomenon this one is. "We're looking for The Last Contractor."
Akari walked to stand next to Flower with her hands in front of her and a calm expression now replacing her look of panic. I gave a lopsided grinned. "Well you're both looking at her, what can I do for you ladies?"
