It been 8 mouths that passed, Sonic was in the den looking at his big belly, smiling as he watch Shadow licking his belly. Shadow was very happy to have Sonic his mate and with pups as he wags his tail. Shadow then got up to walk outside the den to get Sonic some food as he goes to the gate and wait for the humans. Sonic rest his on his paws as he waits for Shadow to came back. He wish he could go outside but Shadow wasn't going to let him too. So Sonic just lay there and huffs. His ears perk as he heard someone was walking in, thinking it was Shadow. Sonic lifts his head to look over but his eyes widen as he saw a black and light pale stripe male had walked in. Sonic slowly stood to growl at the intruder.
"Hey take it easy... I'm not going to hurt you" The black and light pale male said as he step back abit from the angry pregnant male.
"What do you wont?" Sonic asked still growling.
"I'm just here to see my brother" The black and light pale male said.
"Wait.. You're brother?" Sonic asked as he stop growling and looked at the male.
Sonic slowly and cautious walked over to the male to take a closer look at him. The black and light pale stripe male stay put and not move to not scared the young pregnant male or get rip apart. Sonic saw how this male look just like Shadow and was so confuse about it.
"Yea.. his name is shadow, have you seen him?" The black and light pale male asked, watching the younger male.
"Umm.. Y-yea, he went to get food for me at the gate" Sonic said as he step back away.
"Oh, ok.. I'll see you later" The black and light pale male said, turning around to walked out.
Sonic was confused and didn't know if he was really Shadow's brother or not but he didn't attack Sonic. So he relax after knowing that male wasn't a threat and went back to resting as Shadow said to do.
-WITH SHADOW
Shadow finally gotten the food he needed for his mate after waiting so long to get. He walked headed back to the den to feed Sonic but stopped to see someone stood in his way in front of him. He smiled and drop the food.
"Hey mephiles" Shadow said.
"Hey, what have you been doing for all this years?" Mephiles asked, happy to see his older brother.
"Oh nothing much" Shadow said, picking up the food and walked pass Mephiles.
"Oh really now... so why is there a pregnant male wolf in your old den and had your scent all over him?" Mephiles asked with a grin.
Shadow stopped in shock that Mephiles saw Sonic pregnant in the den. "He my mate" He said as he looked back at Mephiles.
"Well finally chosen a mate!" Mephiles said happily.
"Yea so.." Shadow said.
"I thought you said your not going to had one?" Mephiles asked abit confused.
Shadow looked away with a small blush on his muzzle. "W-well I change my mind" He said.
"Haha!!!" Mephiles laughs.
"So why you here anyway? shouldn't you be looking for a territory in this place you called your own" Shadow asked, looking back at Mephiles.
Mephiles stopped laughing as he look back at Shadow with a smile and wagging his tail. "I just want you to know that a have a mate also" Mephiles said.
