Chapter 6

Yang's p.o.v

My vision began to blur as my eyes faded to red. I stopped listening to everything around me and started thinking about Mercury and the fight.

"Why did she attck out of turn?"

"What a disgrace!"

"You hurt me"

"You monster!!"

I slammed my fist down on the table "Ruby!!" I tried to sound urgent, but it came out wrong. I need to get out of here before I burn everything down!

I looked at her, my vision getting more blurry and the voices swarmed in my head.

"Yang Xiao Long, stand down"

"Why did you do it kid?"

"No ones gonna believe you Yang"

"Just face it, you attacked out of turn"

I threw a puch at the closest thing to me, which just so happened to be Ruby. She dodged my hit and looked me dead in the eyes.

"Yang stop! This isn't you! I'm not him! I need you to stop what you're doing now!" she yelled at me.

"You left me"

"Yang, you're not you anymore"

"JUST ADMIT IT ALREADY!! YOU TRIED TO KILL HIM"

I held my head in my hands," Stop! STOP!! Get out of my head!!" I yelled. Ruby injected my with something and I felt myself slowly fade away.

The last thing I saw was Blake, and then darkness.

Time skip

I woke up with a headache. My vision was blurry and my neck was in pain. What the hell happened?


"Yang!!" I looked up to see Ruby. I smiled and hugged her. "Hey Rubes" I said with a smile.

"Yang, you can not believe what happened!! Me and Wiess are together now!!" She yelled jumping up and down. I chuckled and sat up. "I'm gonna go for a ride on Bee, okay?" I said looking at her.

"Alright, be safe Yang, I don't want to pay for your medical bill again" She said giving me a death glare. I laughed and grabbed my black skinny jeans, yellow shirt, and black jacket.

I put my yellow converse on and grabbed my phone, keys, and sunglasses. I walked out the small apartment and to my bike.

"Hey Bee, can I have my helmet?" he gave me my helmet and I started the engine. "Hello sir, where would you like to go today?"

I thought for a moment, "I'll just go for a free drive" I put some music on and drive off into the night.

I drove to downtown Vale, where my favorite club is. I reached the club and cut off the engine. Oh what a night this'll be.

"She's here sir!! It's the-" I blasted the door and walked in. "I'm back!!" I yelled with a smirk. There were about a dozen guns in my face within a second.

"What, ya didn't miss me?" I asked, looking innocent. "Hey blondey, what's up with you and blowing down my door!?" he yelled.

"Junior!! How ya been?" I asked walking towards him. "If we're being honest blondey," he leaned into my ear "I missed you" he said with a smile.

I laughed and hugged him. "Aww Junior!! You have a heart!!" I said letting him go.

We talked for a while and then I had to leave. "I'll see ya round blondey" he said waving. "See ya Junior."

I sped off into the night once again. I stopped at an abandoned warehouse. Well, I used to always come here so I still have my puching bags up.

I took off my jacket and put my gaulets on. Ember Cilica. She scared me yeah, but there are times I have to move on from the past.

I activated Ember Cilica and loaded her. I got in my fighting stand and looked at the pitching bag. With one clean hit, I tore the bag. I continued this for hours. Not stopping.

My hand began to feel numb from all the pain and I was panting. The voices started playing in my head again, ignighting my semblance. My aura was beginning to burn out, and my semblace grew. My vision began to blur and I stumbled a little.

I fell to the floor, not wanting to think about the past anymore. I closed my eyes and started thinking about Blake. Her black hair. Her voice and smile. My mind slowly faded and I fell into a slumber dreaming of the girl with a black bow.
