Thank you to the people that commented with things I should do when my voice wasn't too swell the other day

I (luckly) didn't have to do anything other then a few cough drops, a day or so before my show my voice felt great, just a little cough though

But turns out we were the only band playing at the out-of-town gig we had! So we basically headlined for this event, and were originally going to play on top of a parking garage (COOL IKR) but then it started raining just after an acoustic of Holiday (by Green Day)

So we moved inside to this little stage area in a community art building, and hooked up stuff there and played.

The crowd was amazing, they were all very casual and vocal about things

The head person that set up the event said that we're invited to come play again next year, and they'd have a lot more dates and times. Really exciting!!

And this girl came up to me afterwards and basically said, "hey! So I'm part of a local teen group in the city and we do events and such, and we were thinking about having bands play sometime with something and I was wondering if you were interested and if I can get contact information if it does ever happen?" And sO I GAVE HER MY NUMBER AND SAID THAT WE WOULD LIVE TO AHH IM SO EXCITED LIKE WE'RE GETTING RECOGNIZED FOR OUR MUSIC AND IT FEELS GREAT

I'm in such a good mood and v happy it was such an awesome experience. And we played our longest set !! 30 minutes, but that's long enough for now. we also did an encore !! we played Message In A Bottle (though I didn't memorize the words all yet and we were still working on it) so our band manager grabbed my bass and played it while I read off the lyrics from a paper I printed off of :^)

ODBEKEJEB V HAPPY AND PROUD OF US YOU DONT UNDERSTAND OEHROEHR

also,

It's gonna be a year since my band got together in October I cri :,)

okay, peace out !!!

- a very happy cat
