She had been feeling sicker than ever with the extra weight on her
She got to school and had walked in.
People looked at her like she was inhuman, and it hurt.
She heard the mean comments when she walked around,
"Slut"
"Whore"
"She probably has an STI"
"I heard she slept with my boyfriend"
The rumours were becoming more egregious by the second.
And this felt like complete deja vu to her.
She had ran off, feeling sick to her stomach and wondering how such a thing could happen to her.
Her ultra sound printouts were all over the school halls. She picked up as much as the papers as she could hold and tried to wipe away the gloss from her eyes.
The last thing she saw before she leaned up against a locker and started sobbing was Julie and her so called 'friends' walking away with smirks on their faces and mirth in their eyes.
