Broken by depression,
Broken by her fears,
Dried out inside, she has no more tears.
Eaten by the darkness
Which she could not overcome,
Heaven has lost, hell has won.
She used to love her life,
Until she fueled the flame
Of that which lives inside of her,
Of that which she could not tame.
She's not the little girl she was before,
But do you see her still inside?
That little girl is not yet no more,
That little girl still lives and fights.
Will you be the one to save her,
Or are you too afraid?
Do you fear what hell has laid
Inside her fragile soul,
Or can you see her as she is,
Can you see her in full.
She has taken many pills,
And doctors, had a few,
But maybe, deep inside,
All she needs is you.
