The dark figure looked into the window to see the happy Dragneel family before it leaped from the window sill and headed off to the forest to report to his dark master.
Near the heart of the forest stood the black wizard Zeref. He watched over the lake as his minion approached.
" Zeref, your brother now has a child." The figure said as he kneeled before his master.
"Is that so," Zeref said with a grin. He stood up from the dead tree stump before shouting to the heavens.
"IM AN UNLCE, just wait until I tell Mavis she will be so thrilled." He began to pace around the stump. " souls I send them a gift or a congratulatory letter..."
As he trailed on his minion rolled his eyes thinking,' what is it about babies that make people lose sight of their priorities.'
