It was August 31st and it was boiling hot I was wearing my purple T-shirt and my denim shorts and my best friend,Alyson, was wearing her red dress with black flip flops. Alyson and I walking along the beach talking about how much we would miss summer and how much school would suck this year. We continued talking until someone caught my eye. The guy was about my age and he had brown hair, and green eyes. He was talking to his friends and having an ice-cream cone. I wondered if he went to our school. All sorts of questions popped into my mind,like "what was his name?" "did he like-
"Luna?Luna?LUNA!" Alyson screamed.
She was about ten feet away from me. She probably just realized that I was just standing there thinking about this guy I haven't even met before.
"What are you doing? I'm supposed to be home by 6:00 and it's 5:52".Staring down at her watch. Alyson's parents are very strict. I'm not even kidding. Once,she came home five minutes late and she was grounded for a week.
"Oh crap. I guess we should run back to your house."
"Y'think?" said Alyson
By the time we got to her house it was 5:59.One minute to spare."Well. See ya, Al"."Love yas!"Alyson responded
I was walking home and some guys were following me they looked like they were drunk. I thought of the possibilities that could happen and I started to run as fast as I could. Out of no where some voice said "Hey,do you need a ride". I looked around and saw that guy I was thinking about at the beach.
"How do I know your not trying to do the same thing those other guys are trying to do"
"Trust me" he said
"Too bad. I know what you're gonna do" I said

I cut him off by running away, but his car was too fast and he caught up to me. I hoped he would just give up and just leave me alone.
"CAN YOU JUST PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE?!" I screamed.
"Not unless you let me take you home"
"Fine" I said unwillingly
I got into the car. I needed to make sure this guy wasn't a t,so I decided to ask him some questions.
"What's your name?" I asked
"The name is Tom Hawking"
"Cool Name. My name is Luna Potter. So tell me about yourself,Tom"
"Well,I'm sixteen, I just moved here from Atlanta. I love to play baseball and I just absolutely
LOVE Unicorns."
"What?!" I said
"I'm kidding,don't worry. So, I need to know where you live in order to drop you off." he said
"Oh, I live at 25 Appleking Road"
"Cool I live near your house!"
"So I guess we''ll be seeing a lot of each other,then?" I said
"Okay we're here, I'll see you later" said Tom
"Bye!"
I opened the car door and I ran to the door. I was very excited to tell Alyson what happened.
