I walked down the hall to see August at his locker.
I walked over to him.
Jayla - hey I'm sorry about Odell yesterday.
Aug - it's fine okay.
He looked up.
Jayla - do you wanna hang out sometime

Jayla - he can't control who I talk to.
Aug - he's coming over here
I turned around.
Odell - hey mama

He kissed me.
Auguag closed his locker.

He didn't say anything , he just walked off.
I went over to my friends Jasmine and Lauren.

Odell, Chris, and Quincey walked over

August POV
I sat in Mr. Jamison's class. I got here 4 minutes early so I just sat there. Jayla walked with Odell.
Odell - fuck you looking at poindexter.
Jayla sat down in front of me.
Jayla - babe leave him alone.
I looked in my text book.
Jayla POV
I went home and my mom told me we had company coming over. One of her new coworker is coming and he's bringing his family.
I went upstairs and took a shower and changed clothes.

Mama - Jayla
I walked downstairs and saw August.
He smiled slightly.
Mama - this my daughter Jayla. Jayla is Mr. Alsina, his wife and his son August.
Aug - we know each other.
Jayla - from school.
Mama - oh okay then
He followed me in my room.
I sat on the bean bag chair on the floor. He sat across from me.
Jayla - why you so shy?
Aug - ain't really much of a talker ma.
I looked at his glasses.
Aug - I know they're broken
Jayla - let me see them
He took them off and gave them to me.
Jayla - what happened to them
Aug - Odell broke them.
I went in my closet and found some gorilla glue and glued them back together.
I waited for them to dry then I gave them back to him.
Aug - thank you.
Jayla - ya welcome.
His phone buzzed.
Aug - I gotta go but can I get ya number
Jayla - yes
I took his phone and put my number in and he put his number in mine.

I got home and wanted upstairs. Jayla is the only person who will talk to me so I figured I could get her number.
