Grayson's POV.
The harsh light from outside blazed through my room and strait into my eye's as I was rudely jolted awake by my annoying sister Paisley.
"Waky, Waky" she hummed handing me a glass of water and a bottle of aspren.
"Thanks" I say through squinted eyes and a massive headache. Everything from last night was a complete blur. " I think I might still be drunk, the room maybe spinning."
"You're lucky you made it home alive" Paisley says shaking her head causing her blond curls to bounce in every direction."You spent half the night throwing up in your trash can" I must really look like shit.
"Ughh what time is it" I say flopping back down on the bed and covering my eyes. The room was definitely still spinning.
"It's 10" She says while digging through my closet and pulling out a plain black T-shirt "here get dressed" she says throwing it to me. "They are waiting downstairs and they are pissed"
I groan catching the shirt, by them she means our parents Sara and Dave. They are only home together at the same time when they have something important to discuss with us and half the time it's about something I did or didn't do.
"What is it this time?" I ask while putting on my shirt and heading to the bathroom.
"I don't know but it seems really serious. They want to speak to both of us" paisley says while making her self at home on my bed.
"That's rare" I try to get dressed as quickly as possible, ready to get this over with. But the pulsing headache I had kept me from moving to fast. Paise sat at the end of my bed singing some girly song while she waited, not wanting to face the beasts alone.
*****
15 minutes later we make our way downstairs and to find our parents waiting for us in the dining room. It felt like we were going to an interview. In that case I hope I don't get the job
"Grayson, Paisley. Please take a seat" Sara, my mom says pointing to the chairs across from them. Paisley quickly takes her seat with me beside her.
"I'm going to get straight to the point" Mom says as if she is with a client and is about to report bad news." A friend of ours is in trouble and have offered to help. This requires effort on both your part. Their daughter Priya will be coming to live with us and finish her senior year at your high school."
Great. That's all we need is a noisy bitch hanging around the place. Things were bad enough as it is.
"Both of her parents are being deported back to their home country and she will need to legally marry you, Grayson to stay in the country."
At first all I heard was a bunch of nonsense, bla bla bla their weird ass forgien doctor friends were being deported, but then I the heard the word married and me in the same sentence. "What the F**ck!"
I quickly cover my mouth and looked over at Piase, she hated cursing so I tried not to around her but what they were saying was insane.
They have lost their damn minds if they think I was going to go along with this. A point I was about to expressed to them very vocally.
"Paisley, please leave." I say and patiently wait for her to exit the room before I start yelling.
"Before you start I need you to listen very carefully" Dave, my father says holding out his hand to stop me
"We are not giving you a choice, you will marry this girl and treat her well, or else your gone." He stands up very slowly starring down into my eyes the entire time. "We will disown you, you're 18 now we do not have to care for you any longer. If you want to keep this rich lifestyle you love so much then you will do as we ask."
"You will really disown your own son? For this?." I say feeling the familiar feeling of rage creep through me like fire.
"We have lived through the parting, fights and God knows what else you have done. We have bailed you out so many times. Now it's going to stop, you are going to do the responsible thing for once. That or leave." My dad says face red with anger.
I sit there for a long time counting down in my head like paisley taught me to do when I'm about to explode. If it was just me and paisley wasn't in the picture I would just take my chances and leave, but I couldn't leave her alone; not with them. "Fine" I finally say, standing up clinching my fist. "I'll marry her or whatever the hell you want me to do"
As I turn to leave I knock over my Mother's favorite vase letting the anger was over me and storm out the room. I can hear Paisley walking behind me.
"Gray, wait!"
I don't say anything as I walk out the door and quickly hop into my bright red mustang and hit the gas, speeding off at almost 90 miles per hour.
I zip in and out of traffic like a madman lost in my owns thoughts letting the anger wash over me.
