"Hello, Ace Service Centre. How can we help?"

"My circular saw isn't working."

"What is the model and when did you purchase it?"

"I bought the Heavy Duty Pro yesterday."

"What seems to be the problem?"

"The blade won't spin."

"Did you plug it in?"

"Yes."

"Did you push the safety button before you pulled the trigger?"

"Yes."

"There could be damage to the cord. Can you check it for me?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"I can't see it."

"How come?"

"The power went out about an hour ago."

"What makes you think the saw will work if the power is out?"

"Well, the red light comes on when I touch the trigger."

"That's the laser beam that you use to guide the saw. It runs on batteries."

"It shouldn't matter because the box said, 'Works when other tools fail' and my drill has failed."

"I know the problem. You have to send the saw back. Do you still have the box?"

"Yes."

"Listen to me carefully. First, I need you to put down the saw and unplug it."

"Done."

"Pick up the saw and, this is very important, keep your fingers away from the blade."

"Do you think it could start even if it's unplugged?"

"What do you think?"

"I'm going to use gloves just to be on the safe side."

"Good idea."

"When will I receive a new saw?"

"You won't, I'm going to approve a refund."

"Sounds like there is a serious problem with this model of saw."

"The saw is good."

"What's the problem?"

"You're too damn stupid to own any of our saws."

"Can you recommend another saw?"

"Try Fisher Price."

"Thanks, I will."
