When I'm laying awake in the velvet night fall
I will think of your lips
How I have yet to kiss them at allBut you still know nothing
about the life of my old love for you.
You are going to leave me soon
And I still don't have the courage
To talk to you often enoughI feel like the smallest person
In the world when
I am around you
Because you are so beautiful
And like this velvet nightBut you are not falling,
You are just as soft as the night sky,
You're still growing too.I think that's wonderful,
But I can't see it clearly
Because we are as distant as the stars,
That is what makes me smaller
