Meeting the Zanpakuto

-Kuroo Iko is an oc I made up. I don't own the picture, so credits to them on deviantart. He will be your zanpakuto through this whole story. Let's begin!!

(Y/n) pov
I fell asleep around 11:00.

"Hey!" A voice called out to me in my head.

"Huh?" 'I'm so tired.'

"It's time for you to get your powers. I'll help you."

"What leave me alone!"

I opened my eyes to see a bright white room. I covered my eyes because of the brightness.

"Who are you? Where are you?" I called out.

A boy around my age with black hair and blue eyes came out of the shadows.

"Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you, I'm here to help."

"How the hell am I here!?" I screamed at him as I backed up.

"Chill."

He had a tattoo on his arm, cut off sleeves with a scythe on each arm attached to them. He had an black armor plate on his right shoulder, and he was wearing a cut up Shihakusho.

"I am your Zanpakuto. Kuroo Iko. Somehow you have become a soul reaper," he said and I felt confused.

I put my hands on my hips, "what is that?"

He started walking towards me and I backed up. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me close and I squealed.

"You have beautiful (e/c) eyes. I'm here to protect you, I'm your sword and part of your strength. You will find out more about me when the time comes. Don't tell anyone about me," He said and I nodded with a slight blush on my face.

"Thank you. Goodnight," he said and I saw darkness.

'What's happening to me? And what the hell is a soul reaper!? What do I do?!'

For some reason Ichigo appeared in my mind as I fell asleep.
