Jade parked the car and made her way out to fetch her son from school. It had been Jaden's second week to school and just like last time, she'll be taking him to that bakery again.

She saw her son running towards her, with his friends behind him. In that short span of time, Jade got to know her son's buddies and even their parents, so Jade was sure that Jaden was safe around them since their Moms raised them well.

"Mommy! Look what Mrs. Wovato gave us! She put stars on our arms." he announced and showed his right arm with three star stamps.

"That's great pet," she patted his head. "And how about you two?" She asked Norman and Ted. Both boys showed their arms as well and Jade congratulated them.

"Uhm excuse me, Miss Thirlwall?" Mrs. Lovato approached them. Jade glanced at the teacher.

"Yeah?"

"Can I talk to you for a second?" she asked and Jade told her son to stay put and wait for her to come back.

"What is it?" she asked once they were a little far from the kids.

"You see, the school will be helding a program at the Eduardo's hotel downtown and the principal said that we should atleast have a painting to give as a token of gratitude. And since you're known for your art skills, I would like to buy one of your paintings."

"Oh my god! I am honored to!" Jade said. "When would you want to see my paintings?"

"Tomorrow, maybe?" Jade smiled and nodded. Finally, if Jaden's school would pay her right away, she'll have the money for her son's birthday cake. They parted ways after that and Jade made her way back to her car only to see her son now alone. "Where are Norman and Ted?"

"They weft Mommy." he said and held Jade's hand. "Can we go to the bakery now Mommy?" Jade smiled and nodded.

"Ariana! Where are the files I asked you to get?" Perrie shouted from her room and soon enough her secretary came barging in, carrying a stack of folders filled with paper files.

"Sorry Miss, I asked Taylor to look for it while I was on my lunch break, but she didn't so I still had to go look for it myself." The red-haired girl explained while looking down, waiting to be shout at.

Perrie sighed. She didn't want to boss over anyone, even if she was the boss. But she still have to be, or else her Grandfather would be fuming. "Just don't do it next time, got it?" Her secretary nodded.

As she was about to go out the office, Perrie called her.

"Do you happen to know any coffee shop or bakery around here somewhere?" she asked, her eyes glued to the monitor as she continued to type.

"There's one just around the corner Miss."

"Oh okay, thank you. You may leave now." And with that the red-haired girl left.

As much as she wanted to finish work early, she still hadn't had her breakfast and lunch since she was too caught up with work. She ran a hand through her hair, it had been her habit everytime she's frustrated. She decided to save the file she was writing before picking up her helmet and leather jacket, making her way towards the bakery Ariana was talking about. Maybe a good cup of coffee and a nice slice of cake could take her mind off work, even just for a while.

"Hello Miss Rita!" Jaden greeted the lady in the counter. Even if they've only been here for two times tops, Jade and her son got to know the crew and staff in a short span of time. Since it had been Jaden's new favorite bakery, the little blonde boy wanted to get to know the people working there. So he did.
