I should have never let her live with him none of this would have happened, if only I had listened to myself. She and my grand baby would be okay.
I heard a knock at my door and I just ignored it. They knocked again and I still ignored it. They knocked a third time.
"What?" I said checking my phone to see if she tried calling me. Nothing.
"It's Tobi, can I come in?" Tobi asked through the door.
"Sure." I said putting my phone down. Tobi sat down next to me on the bed. I looked at him and burst into tears, Tobi comforted me and tried to calm me down.
"She'll be fine Josh. She's tough. She's a fighter. She's smart. The baby will be fine. I promise." Tobi said rubbing my sholder. We sat there and I eventually calmed down.
"I just miss her so much Tobi. She's my baby girl." I sniffled.
"I know Josh. I know." Tobi said.
I heard my phone ring and I rushed over to it. The screen read:
