Will... Will you forget me?"

Concern fills his eyes as we stare deeply into each other's soul. We have children together. We have a life to withhold...

"No baby... I will never forget you.."

Whether or not this can be kept, I need to insure my sanity..

I need to insure my Mentality.

Katelyn Pov

"Who are you?"

I ask, truly confused.

"Oh, so you don't know who we are anymore?"

A chocolate man stands, obviously hurt and angered. Only, I don't for the life of me know the reason as to why.

"So... I do know you guys!"

A small smile dances across my face as the men stand unamused.

"This shit really ain't funny."

A tall light skinned man with tattoos scattered throughout his body states... In some odd way, he somewhat resembled Christopher. Only Christopher looks better in my opinion. Way better.

"What's not funny?"

"Who are these men, mommy?"

Naveah asks.

I look over at her, and kiss her cheek.

"I honestly wish I knew, baby. Christopher, can you take the children down another row? I'll catch up with you all."

Feeling my arm being tugged into, I look down to see Chris.

"Yes, baby?"

He pouts, and looks as if he were about to cry.

"Mommy? Please take me with you. Please don't leave me."

His voice and eyes match his pleading. My heart was literally cracking.

"I'll be right back."

I say, hoping he'll let me go, only his tears stream down his face. His face screams panic and disappointment.

Opening my mouth a gap, before Christopher begins to push the cart, I pick Chris up and hold his tightly in my arms. His soft curls begin to massage my hand as I run my fingers through them. He had gotten this from Christopher. My hair is naturally straight, and so are my twin girls.

Looking up at the men as I rock Chris to get him to stop crying.

"Please.... Don't be mad. Don't be offended. But, if I knew you, wouldn't you have contacted me? I mean, I haven't seen you in I honestly don't know how long."

I express. The three of them share a look that I could not pinpoint.

"Katelyn.... You really don't know who we are, do you?"

"No... Why would I pretend to not know who you are?"

The look of pity, understanding, and depression spreads across their faces.

"What?"

One hangs his head, the other looks away while shaking his head, and the last looks as if on the verge of tears.

"We are your brothers... I'm Trey, that's Tyga, and that's August.... Our parents died long ago... But... Our father died... Before he died, we realized he would forget important things like our names, who we were, and much more.........

He had Alzheimer's disease.."

He stresses.

I'm positive he was still talking... Only, I couldn't hear him. All I could see was his mouth to continue to move.

The Earth is silent. I can't hear a thing. Not even a cricket chirping whenever it gets quiet.

I'd do anything.

But..

I won't turn back the clock.

I'm sorry.
