Screams in the dead of night;  Should I flee or should I fight?;  Surrounded by these bloodthirsty foes;  Will I live? No one knows.

Running past the grocery store;  Past all the blood and gore;  Don't get eaten, you must survive;  One thought in my head: "stay alive."

Past the toy shop, so cheery and bright; while inside there is a fight;  one of us against ten of them; I cannot help because I cannot win.

He is fighting hard to stay alive;  but we both know he will never survive;  as he's dragged down he looks my way;  a plea for help but I cannot stay.

I cannot risk my life;  for someone I just saw that night;  so I keep going, I keep the pace;  because in this new world, no one is safe.

Alright, that was just a short poem I made for a English project. I hope you guys enjoyed!
