History Behind this Character: Zero Kiryu
Zero Kiryu is the older brother of his twin Ichiru Kiryu and was also trained to become a vampire hnter by Toga Yagari. When Zero was a child a pureblood vampire Shizuka Hio bit him and turned him into a vampire. And Zero's wish was to die along with Shizuka Hio but Kaname Kuran(another pureblood vampire) killed her. And then in Season 2: Vampire Knight Guilty another pureblood vampire Rido Kuran is after Yuki Cross(Yuki Kuran) because Yuki is actually born as a pureblood vampire but her mother cased a spell to turn Yuki into a human and forget all her memories and later on Kaname awakens her and Zero found out and he felt betrayed(I think) and he still hates vampires.
