<<3rd Person's POV>>
Minato was standing in Gaara's office as he worked on paperwork his head dipping a little letting her know he was falling asleep. About to wake him with a soft shake of the shoulder he and her both snapped to attention, and looked out the window. "It's them."
She muttered before disappearing to hold them off until Gaara was ready. Arriving to where Sand Shinobi were being blown up she stood in front of the blonde and femininely featured guy her arms crossed and a dark glare in her eyes. "Ho-" he laughed, looking at Minato, flying he took off like it would give him an advantage but she leapt after him, her flash step too fast for the Akatsuki member to evade. With her kunai out she slashed and stabbed at him until she stopped and Gaara made his move. Back and forth they switched in and out attacking while the other recovered the member set off bombs and they would explode but because he was aiming for the blonde blur that attacked him in such close proximity to himself he only hurt himself. "You are a fool, to think you alone would be a match for us let alone her." Gaara said throwing another attack and ripped Deidara's arm off.
"Don't forget there are two of us!" Minato said kicking Deidara in the head and sending him flying. Twirling in mid air she landed softly on a building roof opposite to Gaara's sand ball. "Gaara!" Minato shouted when she saw the spider bomb on the opening of the sand cocoon. Exploding it cracked but he was unharmed, sighing she leapt after the Akatsuki member astride his clay bird, she got within grabbing distance when he dropped something, it wasn't aimed for anyone but for the village, falling to catch it and use her own body as a shield something wrapped around her and then it explode. Feeling the familiar cool shade of Gaara's sand she started banging on the shell to release her but it would not give way. Three more explosions went off and Gaara's chakra weakened completely, and the sand shield weakened, freeing her. "Ah, there you are, bye!" The member said setting off five more bombs ten inches around Minato, wounding her and knocking her out. The last thing she heard before falling was someone shouting, "GAARA!!!"
