Sam's POV

I am staring at his face. Darn. It's beautiful. I begin caressing it lightly with my finger tips.

"What's your name? " he breathes. I seems just as dumb struck as I am.

"Samantha, but my friends call me Sam, " I tell him. I can't remove my eyes from his face. "What's yours? " I ask hurriedly. Then I notice that we laying side by side laying on the blanket on the grass. The dark sky showers us with light. How ironic, the stars shine brightest in the dark.

"Derek," he breathes. "Don't leave me, please. Promise me. Alicia," and with that I am ripped out of the dream.

I am currently sitting up in my bed. I am greeted by my dark room

"Alicia, " I whisper in the dark.

"He was thinking of Alicia, he doesn't like me, " and it hurts. I don't know him. But I don't want anyone to have feelings for him.

But he has a girlfriend, I am such a idiot. I intentionally bang my head against the headboard of my bed. And what is the relationship between Alicia and Derek in any case?

What if they had a romantic relationship? Would there still be a chance for me and him? But then why would Alicia wants me to talk to Derek? I put my hands over my face. Why did I like him? I start tugging on my hair.

Is it the fact that when I read his letters, I get butterflies in my stomach? Is it because he is actually sincere in his letters to me? Why does it feel so painful when Alicia tells me that he didn't write a letter?

Why do I like him? Gosh, I like a guy that I have never met. I just started my own dilemma. Oh Shiz.
