Ch. 2 Leaving

He looked up at me and said "you start your training in Friday."
"Ok thank you so much" I said grabbing back my résumé.
"Oh and one more thing he said Turing around to face me. I turned to face him saying "yes?"
"Would you like to go out for dinner tonight?" He asked me looking nervous
"Oh... Uh well see the thing is... I have a boyfriend" I said looking at him.
"Oh well of course a beautiful girl like you would have a boyfriend" he said looking a bit embarrassed
"Thanks for the offer though that's very kind of you" I said with some sympathy on my voice
"We'll have a nice day Mrs. Bailey" he said
"Thank you, you to" I said with a smile. He smiled back and opened the door and let me out first. I walked out the door and down the quiet isle, walking by all the cubicles. I made it to the sliding doors and walked out. I quickly walked to my car excited that I'm now a teacher. I couldn't wait to tell the news to Ben. But there is a part of me that felt nervous, that I might not do a good job. I got into the car and put the keys in and turned them. There was a moment of the engine trying to start then the engine roared and I pulled out and drove home.
~At Home~
I pulled into the drive way and turned off the engine I got out and walked towards the door. I opened up the door and took off my painful black heels and hung the car keys along with my purse. I took out my hair and let my long curly blonde hair fall underneath my shoulders. I went upstairs to the room to fine Ben watching TV. He was watching his favourite show, Fear The Walking Dead.
"Hey babe, how'd it go?" He said smiling nervously
"I got the job!" I said smiling. He hugged me tight and kissed me on the cheek
"Really? That's awesome babe! I knew you would get!" He said smiling. I smiled and kissed him on the lips. He lied back down and I lied beside him cuddling up to him, resting my head on his chest. He put his hand on my head and leaned his head on his hand which was places on top of my head. We watched many episodes of Fear The Walking Dead.
