Chapter five

Riding up to the old house,
Paisley watched Jake look at it in awe,
Only to look away and blush when Jake looked at her.
Getting out the kids walked to the door,
Swinging it open, the one and only Miss.Peregrin stood with her old stop watch in hand,
"Right on time i'd say." She spoke looking at the kid
"Lovely to meet you, Jake, I'm Miss.Peregrine."
"It's nice to meet you to,
Miss.Peregrine,
Are you the bird I saw the other morning?" Jake asked
"Falcon, and yes I am, I was told you were coming soon so I went go see you, and don't worry Jake I won't release Feagle matter on you." Miss.peregrine spoke with a grin making the children laugh and Jake blush.
Going into the house the kids left them alone form them to talk.
"So Mr.Portman why are you here?" the headmistress asked
As she and Jake watch olive heat up the tea
Breathing in Jake answered
"To find out about my grandfathers past and to find out what I saw and what is happening."
Jake answered watching as boy come down the stairs and grab a jar, before turning and looking at jake with hate before running up the stairs with olive in tow calling out to to the boy.
"Anyways, would you like to go on a walk then." She asked while handing him a cup of tea
"That would be nice."

Outside in the gardens was beautiful,
Jake watched as a young girl in braids came just as Miss.peregrine hit her stop watch,
"Miss, how many carrots would be good for supper?" The girl asked
"Just one will do, Fiona."
With that the young girl went to a field of growing crops and sat down, her hands hovering over the small carrot, Jake watched as the carrot slowly began to grow till it was as big as him
"Right on time." Miss.peregrine said when
Bronwyn came and picked it up carrying it to the kitchen.
"So, miss. Peregrine can you tell me what this place is."Jake dared to ask
"Yes of course,
This is a loop, I pick a prefect day and keep it on loop so the kids are safe and unharmed, I am like a protector for them, through out the years, peculiars were persecuted hence why a ymbryne Makes a loop for her 'children'."
Miss.peregrine said as she took the cups out of there hands and walking to the back where Jake saw children playing.
"Can you tell me what happened to my grandfather?" Jake asked
"Look Jake there are things I do not like to talk about and things I do not know and right now I would really not like to talk about this." Miss.peregrine said stopping  before continuing.

"Over there are the twins." Miss.peregrine said as she walked to them seeing as they are fighting over a doll, she ripped it in half for each of them

The twins made a noise of satisfaction before running of with a little girl in pink in tow.
"And that was Clair." She spoke to Jake moving on
"And I'm sure you've met Millard."
"Yes the invisible boy, and I'm guessing that's Hugh?"
Jake asked as he watched bees fly out of Hugh's  mouth an attacking Millard, so he could snatch the ball from him.
"You are correct."
Miss.peregrine said before moving on
After meeting Horace And getting compliments on jakes clothing  Miss.Peregrine
Stopped to where the bloom sister are
"These are the bloom sisters
Emma, the eldest and Paisley the youngest, around your age."
She spoke watching Jake as he stared at Emma to Paisley,
Jake watched as Paisley play with a flower.

Paisley looked up when she heard her sister call her name.
"Paisley can you help me."
Emma said as she held rope
"Yea sure." The younger sister spoke, carefully setting down the flower, walking to her sister aspen helped tie the rope around her waist.
"Why couldn't Enoch, help this time." Paisley asked smirking.
"You know him, he's in a bad mood right know." Emma sighed
Just as a baby squirrel fell Emma caught it with one hand.
As she bent down to un-tie her boots, Paisley looked around, noticing Jake watching with a smile,
Paisley Smiled and waved to the boy she come to know, when she got one in return she look back to her sister seeing her fly up and place the baby squirrel back.
