What are words 可以说是歌手Chris Medina的出名曲，同时也是作者我最喜欢的一首歌。
我喜欢这首歌的歌词，它讲述了字的重要性。字是不会消失的，它们会一直一直活下去，就算你死了。诗人Edmund Spenser在他的十四行诗75里面说过，"A mortal thing so to immortalize,"。字的存在是永恒的，它们是不会消失的。
爱情，似乎是每一首歌的主题，不管是好或坏，对于这首歌也不意外。歌里的男孩说了，他会遵守每一个和她的约定，要不然他还算什么男人呢？这一句让我十分的感动，心里有点嫉妒歌里的女孩（虽然我知道她有可能不存在）。每一个女孩心里想必有会希望有这样的男孩喜欢自己吧？如果我有一个这样的男孩喜欢我，我一定会幸福死的。
