I found a picture of us. Your prom night was awful, I remember how we hated it. Also, this photo reminded me of that year's downfalls.
We broke up two times that year. I remember how I told you that I didn't want to be the reason you held back from meeting new people. Little did you know that my father found the college brochures –he was drunk one again- and beat up because of it. I guess, me going to college wasn't in his plans.
Three days after our second breakup –the one I thought it was definite- you reached out to me and said you wanted to talk. Deep down inside me, I knew you suspected something and I tried to refuse, but you weren't taking a "no" for an answer, so I surrendered.
