Hey readers, Hero here coming at ya with another new story.

This one is a special idea thought of by one of my best friends and we're going to be working on it together.  This story also happens to be intertwined with my second most popular book Mystery of a Clock.  Only this time it's from two different point of views...maybe three.  So heads up anything hinted in Mystery of a Clock but was not shown may be shown in this story.  Also a warning to all my readers; this story will contain uncomfortable topics such as rape being one.  I hope this doesn't offend anyone but in case it does I apologize in advance.

Alright here we go, let's get this new book on the road!

My name is Ryan Leon, well technically I'm Private Ryan Leon.  I was currently on my way back home from the airport.  I just returned from a two year deployment overseas and I was eager to get home.  The reason; my beautiful wife...Elizabeth Leon.  We dated when we were in high school and when I turned 18 I felt like she was my soul mate.  I ended up asking her to marry me and she said yes.  Yes I rushed it but love is a powerful thing and something precious in this world.  Shortly after the wedding my unit was called to be deployed. I was unable to finish high school but I left during my senior year.  We had spent so much time apart that I was just anxious to get home and hold her in my arms.  The taxi ride back seemed to take forever but once I saw my house in the clearing my heart leapt for joy.

"So you in the military or something buddy?"

"Yes, I just finished with a two year deployment.  It was tough and grueling but the experience was worth the trip."

"I bet you can't wait to take off them boots and put your feet up."

"You don't know the half of it."

When the car pulled up to my house I pulled out my wallet from one of the many pockets on my uniform but the driver held up his hand.

"My dad was in the military, lost a leg in Vietnam.  For you as a thank you the ride's free of charge."

"Oh thank you, that's very thoughtful of you."

"Anything for a fellow service member.  You have a blessed day and thank you for your service."

"I will and thank you for your support."

I stepped out of the taxi and went to fetch my duffle bag from the trunk.  Waving goodbye to the driver I began walking up to my house.  Before I knew it the door flung open and there was my wife with a joyful expression on her face.  I dropped my bag and we ran at each other only to embrace one another when we met.  I pulled back just to give her a kiss but she hesitated a bit before lunging forward and capturing my lips with hers.  When she pulled away I could see happy tears dripping down her face.

"I guess I don't need to say the line now that you know."

"No please say it...it makes the moment that more special."

"If you insist; honey...I'm home."

We kissed again before we walked inside after grabbing my bag.  Looking around my house just lifted so much weight off my shoulders as I realized that I was home.  I wasn't out in the desert or on a ship anymore.  As Elizabeth grabbed my bag I noticed something on her arm that I didn't see earlier.

"Hey where did you get that bruise?"

"Hm...oh uh...this...I just tripped and hit my arm on the table a few days ago.  It's nothing you need to worry about."

That did cause me to worry though because she wasn't a clumsy person, I don't ever recall seeing her trip at all.  Not once since we have been together have I seen her do anything of the sort.  However things do happen and there's a first time for everything so maybe I was over reacting about it.
