You can't do that.
Steal my heart then leave.
Maybe I fall in love too easily,
But I faught against gravity this time,
But never-the-less I fell.
I fell because I thought you would catch me,
But you winced as you did,
And then I knew.
And although I could see the end growing nearer,
I didn't slow down,
Maybe if I went fast enough we could fly?
You flew,
Away.
Although you "still want to be friends",
So that should heal my wounds.
But it doesn't,
What it does instead is make me
Glue them shut,
Quickly and carelessly,
So I don't get left behind.
But I know they are going to re open,
And I know also,
The pain will be immense when they do.
