I nodded at my partner and he nodded back, signaling the go ahead. He backed up and kicked the door open and I ran in, gun up. "NYPD, don't move!"
I probably should've expected what I saw next, the two boys had their hands up and turned around slowly.
"So this is what you do for a living?" the curly headed boy smiled and I gaped.
"Ashton?" I rolled my eyes. "You all can put your guns down, these two aren't going to try anything."
Everyone put down their weapons and Danny looked at me. "You know these two clowns?"
"Sadly."
