No one expected Peter to betray his friends.

I'm pretty sure Peter himself didn't expect it

The Pretty much spent half there lives together.

Them making a pack.standing up for eachother.

Meeting James son.

Meeting each others parents.

Almost dying for eachother.

Peter saving the marauders lives.

Them saving his...more than once.

They were pretty much brothers.

Yeah...no one expected him to betray James .

Or any of them for that matter...

They were brothers .
