"I-No, he-he said his friends is in a hospital!"I said

"I don't care what he says. We need to go to your little brother. Now"He said grabbing my hand and dragging me towards his car.

He started to drive fastly and the tears started to build up in the corner of my eye. The car comes to a stop and we both quickly get out of the car. I walked inside the unlocked front door and footprints of bloods are across the floor. I rushed towards the living room and he lay there lifeless. A knife still in his stomatch and i quickly rushed to his side

"No, no, no. Ares, wake up"I said checking for his pulse

"Ares!"I said

"Sh, it's okay,"He said appearing beside me

"I've called the ambulance. They'll be here soon"He continued

"His pulse are weak, Shawn"I said as the tears started to fall faster

"I'll try CPR on him okay?"He said softly before grabbing him from my arms and placing him on the couch. He started to perform CPR and still got no response

"C'mon,"He mumbled to himself and started to pump his chest. I cried harder and he check for his pulse. I hear the sirens blared in the background

"No,"He said and started to pump his chest again.

"Stop,"I cried

"A few m--"

"Just, Stop! He's dead! He's already dead!"I yelled and bringing him back into my arms again. I hug him and the paramedics rushed inside. They took me away from him and started to do check ups on him

"Sir, we need both of you out of the house"A police said and Shawn nod. He walks towards me and grabs my hands

"I-i want to stay here"I said

"Miss, you have to go outside. We need to investigate the place"The same police said and Shawn dragged me outside

"I'm not leaving him"I said

"C'mon,"Shawn said

"No!"I said and he successfully dragged me out of the house

"Why did you do that?"I yelled at him

"I have to see my brother!"I continued, hitting him. Even though he didn't even flinch

"Calm down"He said

"How can i calm down when my brother's dead and i have no idea who will be in his position next! It could be Iris for God's sake!"I said as the tears keeps flowing out of my eyes

"I hate you!"I said pushing him, in hopes for him to stumbled back but he didn't move a single muscle

"It's all because of you!"I said slapping him across the face again and again

"Athena, stop"He said and i hit his chest. He grabbed my hand and i wipe away the tears with my left hand

"You started this"I continued and i slowly realized a few odd things

"How did you know he's putting a hit on my brother?"I asked

"I was next to him when he walked out"He said

"I wouldn't hurt him. I wouldn't hurt you or your family, Athena"He continued, letting to go of my hand.

"You're the only one who knows where i put the house key"I said

"I'm not the only one. He has an insider. We all did. We did that to keep an eye on our victims"He explained

"Miss? We need to ask you both a question"A police said and i nod. I wipe away the tears. The police started to ask me question and i look at Shawn to see him talking to the police with his arms crossed infront of him

"Last question, do you have any idea who he is?"The police asked pointing towards Shawn and he looked at me briefly before talking back to the police infront of him

"No"I said quietly

"No, i have no idea who he is"
