In One Year
The troubles of yesterday day will have melted away
I will no longer wake up to hear the canary
Sing
I will have flown away
Left you to Vermont in may
On an Airplane ride back to a Washington sky
In one year we may see eye to eye
Will my dreams have taken root or
Taken flight

One Year Ago
I was lost and hurt
Finding solace in seconds hand lovers
Summer scuffs landing under her covers
Waking up feeling like dirt
God it all hurt

In One Year From Now One Year Ago
I will be thinking
Sitting waiting wishing
You'd be changing Be Views
Cause I know you
And you know me
I just think we're meant to be
So maybe this just isn't my sign

So In One Year
If you learn just a thing it, is do what you must do
For In One Year you will
Wish you had started a year ago.
