Glass

The price of yesterday wasn't worth the potential of tomorrow
Because today I learned how fragile I am
Like a glass man
I was bustin my ass man
I'm a man of glass with a heart of gold
So lost and cold
They say the sun is brightest at the dawn
But she's set on my night
So be Still
I'm soon off to bed
Where dreams of you will float effortlessly through my head
From a glass reality where I could see
An we could sleep so peacefully
Now the only sleep I do peacefully
Is when my glass half filled with something peachy
Cause I've poured out half my soul an given it away
Fill the gap with liquid and drown my
glass sorrows away
