"Lana, come on! FBI will be here in half an hour," a voice said as I was shaken awake at around 10 o'clock. I was still exhausted from not getting much sleep. But I couldn't miss this.
I groaned. "Is there coffee?"
"On the side table. Starbucks, tall, black with a cream."
"You're the best Jack."
"I do try."
"When did Daniel get back?" I asked as I sat up to see Jack, who was already dressed.
"An hour after I brought you up. He was-"
"Yeah, yeah, I heard. He went to some gambling club with people from the show."
He nodded. "Well, I'll let you get dressed and pack up. See you downstairs."
"Alright," I said as he walked out, and closed the door. I swung my legs to the side of the bed, and grabbed the Starbucks cup next to me. I drank about half of the cup, then I got changed into a pair of jeans, a Fall Out Boy hoodie, and black converse. Then, I brushed my hair, and put on some concealer, eyeliner, and mascara.
I started packing, then there was a knock at the door. "Come in."
I was surprised to see Henley walk into my room. She closed the door behind her, and looked at me for a moment before asking "You okay?"
I shrugged. "I've been better."
"When'd Danny get back?"
"Around 3:30 or so."
"Sheesh."
"That bastard left me so worried."
"Where was he?"
"A gambling club on the strip. I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't the, only, place he went."
She shook her head. "Didn't you specifically tell him to stay in the building?"
"Well, in his defense, I never told him that."
"Still, he should know better. Or at least tell you first."
"Wonder how many drinks he had."
I laughed a little, and zipped up my bag. "Knowing him, probably about a dozen glasses of scotch."
She nodded. We then heard a commotion from downstairs. "They're here."
"Let's see if we can get the FBI to take care of our bags."
"Ooo, good idea."
We left my room, and headed down the stairs. Once we were a few steps down, we heard "FBI, hands in the air!"
"Oh shit!" I exclaimed as I raised my hands in the air. I took a second to look around. There were maybe a dozen armored FBI agents in the hotel room, 3 of them were putting handcuffs on my teammates. The leader was in a black suit, with a gun fixed on me and Henley. That freaked me out, and I immediately calmed down.
"Oh my!" Henley said after me as she mimicked my action. "Do you mind helping us with our bags?" she then asked, giving an innocent smile.
"Let's go," the leader said. 2 agents climbed the stairs, and slapped handcuffs on our wrists. My pair pinched the skin on my wrist.
"Ow, take it easy there," I hissed to the agent.
He was a shy, nerdy looking agent, maybe he was acting weird because he was a fan. "Sorry," he answered, and he adjusted the cuffs. "Big fan, by the way," he then whispered.
"Thank you."
We walked down through the casino, I kept my distance from Daniel, who looked exhausted. It was his own damn fault, he was the one who returned hours late. I saw him constantly look back at me. I ignored it, though, and smiled at fans who were taking pictures. I swear I thought I saw Brendon Urie in the wave of people.
