I was walking through hallways of Tibet when I over heard Talia and Ra's.
T- "I'm afraid our plan has failed, Father".
R- "Our plan? This was your plan and now you must fix it".
T- "I will father, I'll bring Damian back. "
R- " Talia " ?
T- " Yes Father,"
R- " Remember to be discreet, we don't want to draw any unwanted attention to us,"
T- "Of course, Father,"
Talia responded nodding her head before leaving the room. The doors of the main room swung opened. I quickly hid behind a wall, trying not to get Talia attention. As soon as she turned the corner I walked into the main room. I saw Ra's sitting in his chair probably lost in thought because he wasn't as quick as usual to notice when I walk in. "Ra's ?" I said breaking his train of thought. "Forgive me ," I said bowing my head a little, " I overheard you and Talia and I must disagree". Before I could open my mouth again Ra's back handed me. " What have I told you about ease dropping," Ra's said in his normal stern voice. "To not to,but.." I tried but once again I was cut off. "Enough Athena!" He responded in more of a louder tone, " don't question me!"
A-"... NO, you promised Ra's. You promised Damian and you promised me,"
R-"I know what I did, but times have changed ,"
Ra's started walking around the room, probably trying think what to say next. I could tell he was frustrated.
A-" You said you'd allow Damian to live a normal life, until we thought it was time."
R-"Well time has ran out, Athena. Can't you see the Lazarus effect is wearing off. And besides Talia has gone to get him already,"
Ra's sat down on his throne, which stood back/middle of the room up a few step. He bent down with his elbows touching his knees now. I can tell he was upset. I never really understood why people thought he was a heartless killer, maybe they just don't know him like I do. I walked I the step and squat down looking up at him.
A-"Then let me go and protect him,"
R-"I'm afraid that's not possible, I told Talia you'd stay out of it,"
A- *scoffs*
R-"But that doesn't mean I can't stop you,"
I smile knowing what he meant. I a immediately stood up and walk to the doors. "Athena...if you do this, you'll be committing treason. Do you understand," Ra's said sounding slightly concerned. I simply nodded yes and continued to walk out that room.

Ugh what am gonna say when I see him? What am I gonna think of? What is he gonna think of ? I mean it's been about 4 years since I left, I mean he left. What if he doesn't remember me? Ugh what am I talking about I basically raised him of course he'll remember.
All these thoughts were going through my head as I was jumping from rooftop to rooftop in Gotham, looking for Damian or any of his teammates to warn them about Talia. For some reason I was so nervous of seeing Damian, he's been gone for so long. Well I guess that's my fault for sending him away to his father. But it was the only way for him to have a normal, well normal-ish childhood. I mean it's something I never had. *gun fired* I turned around. If there's a gunshot the bat family was probably fighting the bad guys or about to anyways.
I finally found the place where the shots came from. It was an abandoned warehouse on 12th street. I sneaked in from the roof and was surprised. It was Damian next to 3 dead bodies. Dead? Damian doesn't kill anymore, Bruce would've never allowed it. Wait whose that? " Damian you must come with me, back to the temple," it was Talia coming out of the darkness. " Mom?" Damian whispered slowly reaching for his sword.
T-"Don't worry it's just me,"
D-" Why are you here?"
T-" It's your grandfather, afraid his become ill, he's ask me to retrieve you just in case"
D-" In case of what?"
A-" Don't listen to her Damian,"
I jumped down from the window ledge I was sitting on and landed on the classic superhero stance. I slowly stood up and took off my hood."Athena?" Damian said quietly and in shock.
A-" She lying to you,"
T-" Athena what are you doing here?"
A- " Stoping you,"
I walked in front of Damian. I was the only thing standing in between him and Talia now.
A-" Damian, I need you to go back to the cave,"
D-" But, A,"
A-" Now!"
T-" I'm sorry can't allow you to leave,"
Suddenly a whole bunch of assassins came out of the darkness. Damian and I were surrounded.
