Living With the Choices We Make by Sally Mason
This project never really saw the light of day. I normally make things rather random. I leave the imagery somewhat vague when I search out clips to make into trailers. I prefer vague because it's a book and if you are reading a book you have a pretty good imagination.
I picked water for the metaphor she was in overhead and underwater. Her problem was overwhelming and dark. Hence the black and white at the beginning of the video.
The sound of the water splashing into her problem was actually more important than the girl jumping into the water itself.
Domestic violence is hard and it's always hard to find clips that work with it. I think this turn out ok looking back at this really early project of mine.
