Night Among the Dead (Halloween 2016 Short Story)

Chapter 2: My Old Town

     "AHHH!!!" panicked Jonathan.

     "You're not my real mom! said Jonathan, "You're the mom in my first Pokémon Game!"

     ...no reply

     "This is just creepy," thought Jonathan.

     Jonathan's heart began to beat faster and faster. He became so afraid that his heart was about to burst out of his chest.

     Then he thought, "Maybe it's not so bad. Maybe I can just take a look outside."

"Umm..." Jonathan thought confused and puzzled.

"I'm in... Pallet Town," said Jonathan quietly.

He stood there about a full ten minutes before he thought, "maybe I can do something in this game. Yeah! Check my cool Pokémon and stuff."

Jonathan checked his bag full of items and checked his Pokémon. His favorite Pokémon, Pikachu, was there along with a Pidgeot that knew the move "Fly" among other Pokémon.

Jonathan thought, "Maybe I can fly to another city and take a look around."

So he chose Pidget and told it to fly to Saffron City.

Pidget immediately took flight and in a split second, Jonathan was able to land.

Jonathan took a minute to observe the landscape. The more he looked, the weirder it seemed. Until...

"THIS IS NOT SAFFRON CITY!!!"
