Sober (Jiyong x Reader)

You'd known Jiyong you're whole life. From when you were in kindergarten up to now as he sings on the stage. You've seen all the things that happen behind the scenes and all the pain he's gone through. You always want to be there for him but, alcohol became his crutch. He was caught more and more by paparazzi as he was going into a bar or buying alcohol to bring back to the entertainment so he doesn't have to drink alone.

You remembered the old days before Jiyong had started dating that model. He was always smiling and happy and even in their relationship he was more happy than not. Since you'd known Jiyong you'd always wanted to make him happy and as you got older the more you never wanted to part ways. So as he became a YG artist you became a YG makeup artist so in and out of hours you were bound to run into him.

Since she'd broken up with him after finding a better man he was someone you never thought he would be. He was always drunk and smelt of alcohol and he never felt like doing anything. He became a jerk to you and everyone around him but you couldn't give up on the old Jiyong. The boy who'd sneak into your house through your bedroom window so that you could always be together and then leaving early enough to not get caught by your parents, not caring about if he was caught and scolded by his.

You showed up at his home and you could hear a loud crash. It was probably just him falling over again. Once the door opened you saw Jiyong and you wondered if he was still the mess he has been for the past year of his life. His eyes were bright and he had a smile on his face.

"You seem happy today." you smiled as he let you in, closing the door softly behind apposed to how he used to slam it when drunk.

"I threw out all my alcohol and the clothes that smelt like it to and I'm going sober. I realized that even though I was heartbroken I still had someone." he replied as you noticed by walking into the living room he'd just knocked over a flower vase in the walkway.

"Who are you going sober for?" you asked as Jiyong came back with a broom and dust pan.

"Sit down and watch out for the glass," you walked to the couch as there was a moment of silence, "babe."

You choked on your spit and he hurried over to your side, "Are you alright?"

"Your going to stop for me?" you asked, staring him in the eyes which soon showed he was smiling.

"Yup! You're the only one who's ever been there for me and I realized that I loved you more than I ever loved that model. So please wait for me to get a little better. I love you and now I realize I always have." you smiled and pulled him into a hug soon pulling out to look into his beautiful eyes.
