since this is the thirteen questions tag in which im supposed to answer thirteen questions posed by the tagger, I figured why not include my favorite celebrity (where mainstream usa is concerned) because her birthday is coming up soon and lucky number 13 !!!

also sorry it took me so long to get this up; I would have done it sooner but I was trying to finish a one shot so I could actually post this book and add the tag to it

1. What are some things you look forward to throughout your day?
I like school a lot, but as an extremely competitive figure skater (@ yuri on ice fans, you should know that four quads in a program aren't actually possible) practices start hours before school and most days I don't end up at home until maybe 10 or 11pm, so I really look forward to when I get home. Sometimes when I wake up, I'll look at the clock and see it glowing with 4:17am and say to myself, "okay Sam, there are only 17 or 18 more hours until you're done."

2. Which recent comeback impacted you the most (girl group/boy group)
11:11 by Taeyeon is just absolute perfection, but seeing as you mentioned groups, I'll say BLACKPINK for girl groups. While I wasn't a huge fan of them after their debut a few months ago, I can honestly say that I am absolutely in love with the songs on square two and the music videos are filled with my pastel aesthetic which is even better. In general the Stay is just so pretty and Playing With Fire has such a cool hook

3. Did you do anything for Halloween?
My parents forced me to sit on my porch for two hours to monitor how much candy people were taking despite the fact that the temperature was in the high 30s F (~3°C) and I had homework to do.

4. Favorite Candy?
IM CRUNCH BARS AF but lindt is also 10/10

5. If a genie granted you 3 wishes, what would you wish for? (you're not allowed to wish for more money)
1- to actually be able to finish a story in a reasonable amount of time
2- for vkook to canon
3- to be able to meet my idols (this includes anime characters oops) and tell them how much they've done for me indirectly

6. Fanfic Recommendations?
OH MY GOD SO THE REASON I HAVENT BEEN ON WP AS MUCH IS BC I RAN OUT OF DECENT VKOOK FICS TO READ SO I FOUND taekookficrec.tumblr.com WHICH IS LITERALLY HEAVEN AND THERE ARE SO MANY REALLY GOOD THINGS ON AO3 AND AFF 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND CHECKING OUT THAT BLOG
the only problem is that the masterlist is a bit cluttered and not everything of the topic that is on the blog is listed in the topic if that makes sense???

on wattpad, most of my favorites are in my reading lists but some specifics would definitely be-
Liberosis by @/chanbaeol (exo - suho) but everything by her is a favorite
Through the Glass by @/-haikutai (bts - taehyung) this is a straight fic where romance isnt the main focus but funnily enough this actually made me ship vkook but in general this is just an extremely beautiful fic that I would definitely buy and read again if it weren't a fanfic
And of course everything by Zephyr aka @/chocoyoongi bc her writing is actual goals

7. What's your current jam?
As I mentioned before, both title tracks on square two by BLACKPINK are songs I can't stop listening to along with Stress by Taeyeon and What U Need by Lay despite the cringe factor of his lyrics
I'd also add Hey Mama here but Baekhyun's rapping is just so bad I can't😂 (I stg he's my boy group ub and I love him more thanlife I just now understand why he's never rapped before)

8. Any new kpop groups you'd recommend?
For the most part where new groups are concerned, I really only listen to the popular ones every one already knows (blackpink, nct, etc), but there are a few underrated groups I'd like to promote!

WOW by BTOB was one of the first kpop songs I heard and in general I just think theyre way too underrated here bc almos tall of their songs are fantastic
Homme is kind of ignored bc of BTS but they're music is actually really good
GFriend is quite known in the community BUT I HAD TO ADD THEM BC ALL OF THEIR MUSIC IS JUST SO GOOD AND DAMN THEYRE PROBABLY MY SECOND FAVORITE GIRL GROUP MUSICALLY AFTER RED VELVET

9. Least Favorite Food?
I actually can't stand most Korean food besides snacks/junk food and the instant ramyun my friends have force fed me enough times that it's now bearable but in general I'm just not a fan of asian food besides japanese (and I can't stomach sushi and sashimi) and dim sum despite me being almost full chinese (unless you count that im 1/32 japanese lmao) but definitely full asian

10. Ideal Wakeup Time?
Probably around 8 or 9, but I hardly ever get sleep and when I dont have to wake up early I usually end up sleeping in until past 2pm despite the fact that I mean to wake up at 9. I actually like being up before 10 however, since then I can still achieve stuff during the day

11. Did You Hear About the Italian Chef With the Terminal Illness?
Yeah the doctors canoli do so much but it's still sad that he pasta way.

12. Why Did the Scientist Install a Knocker on his Door?
