Your pain is my pain

I suffer pain inflected off others

I feel when you hurt

I feel you cry every night away

I hear your cries of help ringing in my ears

I feel your heart ache

I feel what triggers this eternal pain

I hear your screams

Your cries of pain

I hear your mind screaming stop

As you yell help

Don’t want to leave

Got this under control

I hear your thoughts whisper darkness headed

But your looking the other way

Can someone stop this now

Save this innocent soul

Needing time to heal

Before they inject more pain

Got this under control

You’re such an innocent soul

You’re heart is whole

You blood is pure

And everything’s going downhill from here

I’ll keep my eye out

And watch over you
