So the reason I chose this theme for January is because in Hindu culture, January's birthstone is considered "serpent stone." If you look at the girl's eyes in the cover closely, they look snake-like, and her clothing is also very Indian looking. I wanted to include a bit of my culture into the cover I was making, so I hope it reflects that, and I hope it's fine for me to make a cover based on it~
