Colby's POV
"What do you want Veronica?" I asked as the blonde bimbo walked toward me. "I just wanted to see how my Colby bear was doing."
Veronica's squeaky voice irritates me.
"I am not your Colby bear anymore. Don't you have some man-whore to be sexting?!" I answered angrily, venom in my words. Veronica pushed out her bottom lip in an attempt at a cute pout, failing horribly. It looked like a gross, slimy, pink slug was stuck to her mouth.
"If I were you... I would leave... before you do something that you will regret."
I've warned her once...
"Fine... i see you haven't really gotten far in the dating game since I've left." With that, she flipped her hair over her shoulder and walked back to her expensive car.
"I'm so sorry Savannah. As you could probably tell, Victoria and I dated." I apologized purposely getting her name wrong.
"Her name was Veronica wasn't it?" Savannah asked. "Yeah, it was." I laughed and Savannah joined in.
In the car, Savannah and I drove in comfortable silence.
At Reed's condo complex I walked Savannah to Reed's place. We stopped by the front door and I looked in her bright purple eyes.
I want to kiss her so badly. But I won't.
Savannah smiled. "I had a nice time tonight. Thanks."
"It was my pleasure." I replied holding my hand out to her. She put her hand in mine and I kissed the top of it. I smiled at her while still holding her hand. All of a sudden the door swung open and Reed was standing there.
"I heard you guys talking." Reed said, leaning against the door frame.
"Right... well I'll see you next time Savannah." I smiled at her and she returned the gesture, her cheeks turning slightly pink. Savannah disappeared in the apartment. Reed stared at me, waiting for me to say something.
"The night was almost ruined, Veronica showed up before we drove home." I said rolling my eyes at her name. Reed raised an eyebrow skeptically.
I shrugged not truly worrying about the situation.
Man was that the biggest mistake of my life...
