I must pretend I didn't smell
Her perfume on the collar of your shirt

I must pretend I didn't hear
As you whisper I love you in her ear

I must pretend I didn't feel
That I'm last in your priority

For I'm a great pretender
Pretending I'm alive but half-dead.
