Before Hayley could say any more and completely ruin everything, Rebekah cut her off.

"Wow, you saw Bella, great so did i" the Rebekah spoke sarcastically, but there was an underlay of tension in her voice, making the Brothers suspicious, what was happening to the girls of the household? Klaus however found the small bitchy cat fight quite entertaining and wished it to continue, typical him.

"What is all this talk about me?" Bella's voice questioned, they all looked up to see her enter. She was wearing loose clothing; a oversized long shirt and Tracksuit sweats, she was trying to cover as much skin as possible, her hair was braided to stop the grey from being visible and she was wearing Concealer to cover the grey skin. However, her voice was betraying her, it was rougher, she had avoiding talking to anyone for the last few days, for this very reason.

"We are talking about how you just got out of bed" the female original tries covering for her, explaining the foggy voice, however it wasn't a very good excuse.

"It's three in the afternoon" Hayley said snottily, like a small child snitching on a fellow child.

"You try being tortured, I'd love to see how much sleep you need after that" Bella responded after coughing, it was a pitiful attempt. You could almost hear the cogs turning in Hayley's brain, trying to think of a come back but the vampires were older, smarter.

"You were tortured ages ago" was her ever so brilliant reply.

"Yep, i was, doesn't stop the pain" Bella muttered whilst walking over to the liquor cabinet, it reminded her of Damon, she missed him and her old family. It felt like an eternity ago that she had seen them. After a sigh she poured herself a healthy sized glass of bourbon.

"Washing away your pain? I can't imagine what it must feel like to rot" Hayley grinned, she was playing a dangerous game but she seemed oblivious to it. Rebekah was raging, she didn't take lightly to people making a joke out of her sisters upcoming death. Hayley's words made Bella down the alcohol , relishing the burning feeling, happy to have something soothing her throat.

"Now whatever do you mean by that?" The youngest vampire questioned, trying to keep her voice clear of anger. The original brothers were watching the conversation, confused, their heads shooting in each direction as if watching a tennis ball at a tennis tournament.

"What does death feel like?" Haley deflected her question with a heartless one of her own. Rebekah finally intervened.

"Horrible, but then again it's like a peace" the Original spoke from experience, she had been daggered many times. In fact, even Bella knew what death felt like, after having her neck snapped so many times in the past.

"Don't worry sweetheart, the way you are going, your death will arise quite soon" the little brunette replied threateningly and was happy to see Hayley flinch slightly.

"Why are we talking about death?" Klaus questioned cutely, like a small child joining into a adults conversation warily.

"Because Bella's dying" Hayley answered hastily when she got her chance, she was just happy to anger Bella nd Rebekah, not thinking if what she was actually saying.

"What?!" Niklaus was enraged and confused, he leapt to his feet and was in front of Bella within a second, scanning her with his eyes for any injuries, all he picked up on was that she looked tired, in his haste he missed the grayness of her skin.

''I'm not dying" Bella stated, laughing, she was a good actress and it sounded real to most but Klaus somehow recognized it to be fake, however at that moment he didn't question it. Elijah was also still wary, Bella and Rebekah's replies and actions made him suspicious, he could see the discoloration of her skin clearly.

"You just need sleep, how have you been sleeping?" Klaus questioned, his eyes searching hers.

"Uh...not great" she answered, it was true and she felt bad about lying to him about another thing, especially considering this one was not that bad a secret to hide.

"Well, come on princess, I'll stay with you while you sleep, it might make you sleep better" the hybrid offered softly, in the gentle voice he had reserved for her only. Hayley was infuriated that her efforts had failed and she wanted to kill Bella.

"Okay" Bella nodded, sleep was creeping to her. Rebekah was terrified on her behalf, if Klaus touched her skin he'd worry about the temperature. Also, what if her shirt moved and her veins and skin became visible? However , despite these worries, she knew sleep might help Bella a little bit.
