Your POV:

I was home alone in my room on a Sunday night while my mom was at work until 7:00am

There is a really bad thunderstorm out right now and I always get scared so I decided to get my phone and earbuds to listen to music

It was 9:30pm

As I was listening to my music I was facing the ceiling

But I then saw my ceiling lamp shake a little

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion

It's just the sound of the thunder I thought

But as I continue to look at it it shake more and more

Until...

The lamp then came crashing down on me fast as a large blue lightning bolt came in from the ceiling hole and hit me as glass shattered

I got shocked and started to shake

And then my eyes closed

Later On:

I opened my eyes as music still played

I looked in front of me and saw my ceiling lamp broken sitting on my stomach

"Shit"
You whispered to yourself

I looked on my phone too see what time it was

It was 12:30am

I took my earbuds out and got up slowly

"Ouch"
You hissed

You pulled up your shirt and saw you had a couple of deep cuts

You pulled your shirt down

"Gotta clean this up before mom gets home"

I then started cleaning and picking up glass while wearing gloves

Once you were done you went into the bathroom and took a shower

As you were in there you thought what happened

The lighting bolt

Is that possible?

You then washed your body and the cuts on your stomach as you hissed

Once you got out and dried off you then bandage yourself from the deep cuts

You put your pjs on and went straight to bed

Next Day:

I opened my eyes from the sound of my alarm

I groaned knowing today was Monday

I got up lazily and changed, got breakfast, and drove to school

Once I was in school I went to classes with my usual routine

I got to English class
